New Moon Ceremony - Leo - Women's Circle

Hello beautiful beings,

This month's new moon is in Leo. Leo is the sign of self-expression, and showing what's in your heart, so during this Moon you may feel safe in moments when you can impress others and get praise and admiration. Leo invites us to open our heart, and make our deepest desires come to life. This is a great time to ask yourself if you’ve truly been doing the things that make you feel the most fulfilled.

The actual new moon is August 16th.

New moon ceremonies are a great time for rest, new beginnings, and planting new seeds of intention. Whereas the full moon is a time for harvest, expansion and celebration.

 Immersing yourself in a new moon ritual can have many benefits: 

- Checking in and showing yourself some much needed self-care and attention.

- Learning tools to help you actively create and cultivate a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

- Learning to work with 28 day cycles.

- Learning how to manifest by planning your action steps and put support systems in place

In this ceremony you are invited to disconnect from the outside world, be still, connect to yourself & nature, tune into your sacred cycle and set intentions for anything new you've been waiting to set in motion. You do not need to have any experience in astrology, moon ceremonies or anything esoteric, simply come as you are ready to tap into your inner calling and desires.

The ceremony is the catalyst that will help guide you closer to your chosen path. Remember, this isn't about fixing yourself but rather a space for you to learn how to and continue to infuse mindfulness tools to help you reach your desires and personal calling through the choices you make from season to season. Whether that be your moon cycle, the monthly moon cycle or the Cancer Moon cycle (about 7 months time). Get ready to sow some seeds!

 What to expect? 

We will come together Sunday from 2 pm-6 pm. This space is open to women, non-binary and trans folks.

The ceremony will include the following rituals:

• Ceremonial cacao
• Guided meditation
• Breathwork
• Reflection and journal prompts for intention setting
• Singing and dance to live instruments
• Oracle Card Making
• Tea
• Time for connection and sharing.

Arrive on time so that we can make the most use of our time together. You are encouraged to bring comfy/warm clothes, yoga mat, special items to charge in the alter (flowers, herbs, crystals, oracle deck, any special items), flowers/leaves from your garden as an offering, a scarf/small blanket, a notebook & pen and any other things you want to share with the group/circle.

Jeannette is a certified Yoga, Mediation and Pranayama/breath work facilitator. She is a professional Empowerment Coach who is experienced in helping people liberate themselves from the limitations of their minds through various ancient philosophies, trauma-informed education and neuroscience.
