We work together to create a habitual practice that helps you reach your strength, flexibility and balance goals. As we connect breath to movements we rejuvenate and revitalize our state of being.   This session is great for all levels and anyone looking for personalized attention. We will actively work at advancing your practice as we learn how to take what we learn on our mats to our daily life.  Sessions are available in person or via live Zoom video.     This one-on-one sessions is tailored to your specific needs, whether you need to reduce stress and anxiety or your looking to improve your mental focus and alertness. We explore various breathing techniques with the opportunity to find the style that best suits you. The different styles of breathing will help connect our yin and yang bodies. It can be expected to increase energy levels, mood, focus and relaxation throughout the body and mind.  If you find yourself feeling high levels of anxiety and stress or simply seeking mental clarity,  this practice can help you to manage and improve these states.  Sessions are available in person or via live Zoom video. Please specify at registration.In this course, we will gain the tools to connect back to a peaceful and relaxed state as well as bring energy and awareness to our lives on and off our mat.

  • Sekhem Energy Healing

    Sekhem energy healing, often referred to simply as Sekhem or Seichem, is a holistic healing modality that is believed to have ancient Egyptian origins. Its name is derived from the Egyptian word "Sekhem," which translates to "power" or "might." It is similar to Reiki in that it involves channeling and working with healing energy, but it with its own unique qualities and techniques. In a Sekhem healing session, the practitioner serves as a channel for this healing energy and working with the recipient to direct the energy where it needs to go. Specific hand positions and techniques are used to direct energy into the recipient's body, with the goal of clearing or removing energy blockages, grounding energy, bring energy to specific chakras, connecting with portals beyond this realm and promoting a state of well-being. Sekhem is channelled energy, known as Living Light Energy. Living Light Energy addresses the subtle aspects of cause, releasing even deeply held thought forms held in the etheric body which create symptoms of disease and blockage in our physical form. In the physical body, Sekhem affects every molecule and cell in a cleansing, balanced, healing manner. Consistent use of Sekhem quickly and easily brings the changes you wish for in your life. In Ancient Egyptian the word meant “spiritual power” or “might”, for Sekhem is related to and acts directly on the individual’s soul frequency. Sekhem works on all levels simultaneously, the physical, mental, emotional and all of the spiritual planes so accelerating our personal development and elevating the vibrational frequency, or as some call it ascension. Practitioners may focus on specific levels depending on the recipient's needs. Hands-On and Distant Healing: Sekhem healing can be performed in person through light touch or with the practitioner's hands slightly above the recipient's body. It can also be conducted as distant healing, where the practitioner connects with the recipient energetically from a distance. Benefits: Sekhem energy healing can help with a wide range of issues, including physical pain, emotional trauma, stress, anxiety, and spiritual growth. It is often used to promote relaxation, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Spiritual Connection: The practice of Sekhem is viewed as a spiritual practice that connects individuals to higher states of consciousness and spiritual growth. It is believed to help individuals on their path of self-discovery and enlightenment.

    The Breath Breathwork is an umbrella term for any time you take conscious control of your breath and use it as a vehicle to create a shift in your physiology and/or state of mind. Whether you want to alleviate anxiety, improve sleep or optimise your sports performance there are different breathing techniques for all of these. It is my mission to educate and empower you on how to do so. Come and breathe with me…! Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to fully expand through the belly. Refrain from eating 2.5 hours before class.     This one-on-one session is a guided meditation where we ground down and find stillness through the fluctuations of the mind. Together we work through numerous meditation techniques to find the one, or a few, that transcend you to a peaceful state of mind.  This practice is great if you experience stress, anxiety and emotional imbalances. All levels are encouraged to join. Together, we work to deeping and straighten a habitual practice that helps you find that sweet relaxing state of self.  Sessions are available in person or via live Zoom video.   • The Breath - In Studio

    "Mind is king to the body. Breath is king to the mind" - B.K.S Ianger. The Breath invites us to come into awareness with the landscapes of our breath. Pranayama is a profound yogic practice of exploring and expanding our vital life force energy. In these sessions, the breath is our vehicle to connect with the movement of energy. Throughout the practice, we'll feel into various breathing techniques from classic pranayama, kyrias and qi gong, with an emphasis on trauma sensitivity and working towards nervous system harmony. Allowing you space to explore your unique relationship with your breath and energy flow at your pace. Jeannette focuses on providing guidance and support for students who seek to find harmony within the intricate dance between professional obligations and family commitments that modern life demands. In a society that prioritizes productivity and high performance, mindfulness practices are often used as tools for self-optimization. However, Jeannette invites us to shift our perspective of mindfulness practices to one that can help us reveal our raw and authentic experience of life - becoming acquainted with any discomfort as a compass for wellbeing and decision-making. What you can expect: - You will be lying, sitting, or standing with some techniques requiring more movement. (variations are available for most health and physical abilities, please speak to Jeannette privately to find out if this class is a good fit for you.) - Learn a wide variety of pranayama and breathwork techniques for nervous system harmony - No previous experience is required, there is something for everyone. - Opportunities to ask questions and share after class. - Trauma-Informed Sessions Attending Class Arrive 5 minutes early to check in and get comfortable. Wear comfortable clothing that allows full expansion of the belly. Refrain from eating at least 2 hours before class, this class is most beneficial on an empty stomach. Join us for Yoga on the Lawns, a welcoming and rejuvenating slow flow vinyasa practice held outdoors in community spirit. Beginners welcome — this session invites you to start your day feeling light, grounded, and deeply connected to yourself and others. 🌿When: Saturday Mornings - 9 - 10:15 AM, on Hove Lawns across from The Drive. *With the option to stay back for a cup of tea in community. ✨ What to Expect: This class is a breath-led slow flow that blends mindful movement, guided meditation, and moments for inward reflection. You’re encouraged to move at your own pace, listen to your body’s cues, and adapt your practice to suit your needs. Here, you are your own master, teacher, and guru — free to explore what empowerment looks and feels like in your body. 🌞 After Practice – Cacao + Community Stay after class to enjoy a warm cup of homemade cacao (suggested donation £3) and casual conversation.
